Here's a picture of a Sportscycle.. Ours will be similar but much faster. I'm using an '07 Hayabusa with a few modifications.. I expect 3 second 0-60 mph performance with a top speed identical to a standard Hayabusa - 187 mph. I am using the stock instruments, paddle shifter, HUGE Wilwood brakes, and other assorted open wheel race car devices.. and the beauty of it is IT'S STREET LEGAL! Tagged as a motorcycle it's perfectly legal to drive on Alabama's highways... More as we get closer to completion....

Here's a view of the back of a SportCycle (not mine)- you can see where/how the bike attaches to the frame structure..simple. No one has done a Busa yet so the power increase is making us build some extra mounts to properly secure the powerful machine. We used a Toyo Proxy car tire on the rear with Goodyear Eagle GTs (205/45/VR16) on the front aluminum rims. |
